About Us
WCPOM is a social and support group for families of twins, triplets, quadruplets, and more! As of 2023, WCPOM is no longer a non-profit organization with dues and fundraisers, nor is there a governing Board of Directors. Instead, WCPOM is a group of parents who offer online support via our private Facebook group, as well as fun social activities (funded individually). Check us out on Facebook
Communities We Serve
- Our social club consists of Parents of Multiples from Will County and the surrounding areas, including:Naperville, Plainfield, Aurora, Yorkville, Oswego, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Shorewood, Joliet, Channahon, Minooka, New Lenox and more
Our History
- Will County Parents of Multiples (WCPOM) was founded in January 1995 by a group of area mothers of multiples. The club was originally named “Will County Mothers of Twins Club” (WCMOTC). Since 2017, the name was changed to “Will County Parents of Multiples” (WCPOM) in order to welcome and support all parents who are deep in the challenge of raising multiples. In 2023, WCPOM moved in a different direction and is now a club for social gatherings and online support for parents of multiples. We will meet occasionally for local events and get-togethers, but there will be no fundraising, no dues, no governing Board of Directors and activities will be individually funded by participants. If you are a parent of multiple-birth children who would like to connect with other local POMs in the SW suburbs of Chicagoland, please find us on Facebook at Will County Parents of Multiples. Thank you for 28 years of support!
